Lottman family, finally {family photographer}

I’ve been so anxious to meet the Lottman family. Between my mother-in-law and my husband telling me how great they are and our two canceled sessions due to rainy Montana days, when Saturday rolled around and the sun was out I was beyond thrilled to finally get to photograph this family!

Gwen, Chris, Marlow and Wenstin you are all so adorable and I’m so glad we finally were able to do this session!

Enjoy!

A very thankful Thanksgiving!

This year Tom and I have so much to be thankful for! It’s been the craziest, most exciting, joyous 2010. We opened the year opening ERIN KAYE PHOTOGRAPHY, found out we were expecting our little peanut, brought our little man into the world, bought a house last month and will be getting married on December 31st! I can’t image being anywhere else in the world then home, close to family, as we start our lives together. We love and appreciate our families so much for the support this year!

So needless to say we had much to be thankful for this thanksgiving. And for Patrick’s first turkey day he was the luckiest grandbaby around and got to spend it with both sets of grandparents!

I’m thankful for sweet baby smiles that melt your heart….

I’m thankful for my two happy healthy boys…

I’m thankful for naps…

I’m thankful for generations…..

I’m thankful for sillyness…..

I’m thankful for story time…

I’m thankful for a grandparents touch….

I’m thankful for love….

I’m thankful for thanksgiving!!

And I’m thankful for mommy sometimes being forgetful….

Thanksgiving time = Family portrait time

I skipped out on the morning shopping to spend my black Friday shooting a fun family session…. the Stockwell siblings! It was the first morning all week the temp was in the double digits and the sun shined upon the bridgers!

Sunny morning + happy siblings = fun session!

I love when the mountains just glow…..

And then they got comfortable with me 🙂

One…. two….three….. “Were we supposed to jump on two or three?!”

Rachel says “No like this!”

And then we conquered it!

MacFarlane Family

Scott and Jen have such an outdoorsy, spunky, loving family! Two beautiful twin girls and one handsome little man plus a happy mommy and daddy equals one HAPPY FAMILY!

Ten toes times five people equals 50 little pigs, but sometimes a few get lost in the sand…

momma and her girls

Laxson family

Saturday morning I had the pleasure of shooting the Laxson family… Michelle and all her boys are full of fun and lots of energy. Just like all little boys out there trying to get the to hold still for a few moments wasn’t as easy as it may sound, but we did wrestle them down for a few really cute shots.

lovin the big little boy smiles!

This momma has her hands full!

Thanks for a fun shoot guys!

Family Photo FUN!!

Welcome to my new and hopefully productive blog!! I’ve been wanting to start doing a blog for a few months now and have been distracted by the new little man in our lives, Patrick Thomas Wells! But thanks to friend and fellow photographer, Stacey Worthington (you can check out her amazing work at http://www.lifeasyouliveit.com) I have been inspired to start my own. I’m going to do my best to keep you all updated in our personal lives as well as posting my professional work. It’s been a while since I’ve been in the “writers mode” but I’m going to give it a shot!

My brother and his beautiful wife Lindsey graced us with their presence for most of the summer and got to par take in weddings, summer fun and most importantly the birth of our son while in transition from their life in Seattle to their new awaited life in Oregon. Dr. Hollern graduated this past June from dental school at the University of Washington and will be working at a community health clinic in McMinnville very soon. As much as we would have loved to keep them around here to be close to us, we know what an amazing opportunity they will have out in Oregon and we are SO proud of them! Before they took off from Bozeman we had to do a family shoot in the studio with our two new members of our family! We love you both so much and wish nothing but complete happiness and success! For those of you who have yet to get a peek at Patrick (hopefully everyone has gotten to meet him or at least seen a photo) here he is and there will soon be much more to see!!

What an amazing little man!
